Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC)
PIDC is Philadelphia’s public-private economic development corporation with a mission to spur investment, support business growth, and foster developments that create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, and drive growth to every corner of Philadelphia. A non-profit organization, PIDC was founded in 1958 by the City of Philadelphia and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
The Redevelopment Authority (PRA)
The PRA focuses on planning and developing balanced mixed-use communities to create thriving, well-served neighborhoods. As the public government agency charged with the redevelopment of the City of Philadelphia, the Redevelopment Authority provides the foundations that enable private investors to revitalize neighborhoods.
Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation (PHDC)
Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation is creating viable communities that we will continue to provide effective housing programs that benefit the low- and moderate-income residents of Philadelphia. Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA)The PPHA develops, acquire, lease and operate affordable housing for city residents with limited incomes. In doing so, PHA does business with many local companies including small, minority and women owned businesses.
Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA)
The Philadelphia Parking Authority purchases goods and services from a variety of vendors. In accordance with Pennsylvania law, purchases exceeding $25,000 in value are made through publicly-advertised competitive bid. PPA is always looking to form lasting relationships with qualified businesses in the area owned by minorities, women and persons with disabilities.
